Due to where I live, I need to replace my daily carry blades with one under 3".
Bummer, I really like my SoCom Elite and Apparition. On the other hand, I get to buy another knife:)

I was looking at the Benchmade 707SBK

http://www.benchmade.com/products/707

Other than Spyderco (prefer the opening stud to the ring) are there any other similar models I should look at? I'm not price sensative so I'm open to just about anything.

Thanks

Here's another option. Strider PT (furthest on the right) sub 3" knife. Very strong and well made, tip up carry. I carry and use that one everyday at work and it only gets better with use. Brand new it's about twice what the above Emerson is listed at...
