I must say I'm getting frustrated trying to find mags that work consistently in my 2 LB's. Everyone likes the Wilson mags--and the 7-rounders work great in my SA Loaded--but the step (if that's the term with a synthetic follower) appears not to be high enough to engage the slide stop lobe, so the slide won't lock back. I bought two CMC 8-round Power Mags with the metal followers, but the followers don't seat consistently in the mag tube. On the advice of someone who posted on another of my threads, I've ordered two 7-round Metalforms with round followers, and I'll see how they work. In the meantime, I'd appreciate input as to what followers work best, and whether followers are generally interchangeable among various makers' tubes. Thanks alot.

I don't know about the McCormicks, but if your 1911 doesn't work with Wilsons or round-follower Metalforms, something's wrong with it.
