So, being a nice day in the nation's capital...the wife convinced me to clean out the garage. As my sons and I were rearranging and throwing out old junk I came across a box I did not even recognize. I opened the box and along with a bunch of junk, was my old tackle box used back in the day of float trips in the Ozarks.

I opened the tackle box and lo-and-behold...two old knives I thought I had lost years ago during one of our six relocations. The Buck 110 is at least 30 years old...note the lovely patina! It was my first "real" knife. The other one is an Olsen that my wife bought me about 25 years ago in Eureka Springs Arkansas. I haven't seen these knives in at least 8 years...Almost like finding old friends I haven't seen in years.

Of course, both sons immediately wanted to know which one got which knife...I told them they would have to fight over them when the old man is gone. Pics below.
