Anybody know who the Gunsite 'smithy was at the time ?

About the gun, has 80-85% of finish, barrel and lockup tight, slide/frame fit is VERY smooth, has a crisp 4.5# pull. The Novak tritium is dead but easily replaced.

Price tag is $750. I figure if I can get the shop down to $700, it will be a good deal. Thoughts ?

My best friend has a Springfield GSP (Early 90's) with all the paperwork. It even came with a toe tag with the gun's serial# and Yost's inspection/approval signature on 2 separate lines. I assume the signature was an approval on 2 stages during the gun's process of being built. One was probably for initial/midway and the last signature was Ted's approval before the gun went out. Ted would be able to acertain what the signatures were for as I'm only guessing..D
