I have six metalform SS .40 S&W 8 rd mags for sale. They have a flat follower and welded base w/ bump pad. Four work perfectly, two will not lock the slide back on my pistol. Notice the spacer on the inside of the mag on the right. That's why I can not use these in going to 10mm.
