PARA's GI Expert will accept Wilson's 'drop-in' grip safety with no fitting or modifications (mine did anyway).
Mine has a bit of play left to right and there is a rather large gap between the GS and frame, but my GI Expert is no longer painful to shoot :)

The part that Wilson makes for Commanders may have been a better fit. Everyone seems to make their frame tangs shorter than Colt, so the Government Model safety really doesn't seem to fit very well on anything but Colts.

Beavertail grip safety

When I bought my G.I. Expert I intended to replace the stock safety with a Wilson drop-in GS but after over 500 rounds through the gun have not had the slightest issue with the stock safety so will probably save the money and leave it as is.

Huh, I always thought if the hammer wasn't chewing a hole in the webbing of your hand, you weren't doing it right? :biglaugh:
