Holy cow! Its a Glockenteeneleven! At least somebody thought of the idea...

Enhanced safety features include a grip safety, USA trigger safety, and a firing pin block (drop safety). The grip safety requires gripping of the pistol before the trigger mechanism moves into an activated position. The unique XD design also prevents the slide from unlocking until the grip safety is depressed. The muzzle protector fixed guide rod system blocks slide movement and protects the muzzle from damage in case the pistol is dropped on the muzzle. The Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) trigger safety blocks the firing pin/striker until the trigger is fully depressed. A loaded chamber indicator and cocked firing pin status indicator all add to the XD's unrivaled safety features.

Oh my gosh! My friend told me he thought he had seen a Glock with a grip safety once, and I laughed at him! I guess he wasn't full of B.S. for once...
