I ran 100 rounds of S&B 230gr ball nose through my Kimber and also ran 5 rd's of GS to compare them. I ran 2 and 2 in the same mag to get a back to back feel.
I didn't really notice anything different in how they shot, except that the GS seemed to smoke more. It was outdoors and light and with the GS's there was a more noticeable white or gray smoke blast, as I'd call it.
Was I seeing things or would that be an accurate assessment?
I was hoping to try some CCI next time at the range to see if it burns any cleaner than the S&B.
