I had to stop by D R Middlebrooks place to drop off some money and saw my .45. It's coming along nicely. He's started the bevel work on the frame/safety and has done some extra polishing of the barrel hood throat and feed ramp. It's soooo much brighter in there now. He also has polished up the chamber. Also started fitting the trigger. Man was it cool to see it in the early stages of work. He gave me a little instruction on how it's all coming together and how some of the parts fit together and work while the gun is apart. Well, it won't be too long I guess.
D R is really a nice guy. I feel very comfortable with him working on my .45
