I was just at the gun range, and saw a new Grand Raptor. I thought it was to have the new exposed extractor, instead it had the old style. Is Kimber changing back to the old style?
Kimber's not admitting it, but around the nation at the various Kimber Master Dealers, new Kimber pistols are arriving with the traditional internal extractor.
I read a post here on the Forum, where someone called Kimber and asked about this; Kimber's response was that many people were requesting the int. ext.
INHO I think that Kimber is switching back to the internal, and does not want to make a big to-do about this- at least not until all of the Kimbers with external extractors have been sold out of current inventory.
