Any suggestions for a 'drop-in' grip safety? Pistol is an 80's stainless GC National match - don't want to modify the pistol to replace the GS, but the hammer bite is getting old - will deal with it if there aren't any drop-in options.

Thanks for any suggestions (I did try a search but had a hard time finding anything)

I believe Kings sells a drop in beavertail grip safety to fit the spur hammer.

I fitted a drop-in commander style hammer and Wilson drop in grip safety to my M1991. Very nice fit.

Several other drop in changes show here too. Other than the Novak sights they're all reverseable. I retained the original parts in the pistol box.

I have a Colt 1991 commander that I didn't want to change the grip safety to keep "the Look". I took a small file and broke the edges that hit the web of your hand. Not as good as a Beavertail, but I'm not in pain anymore.
