Jim V,
Is it true that Norincos have a different size grip screw bushing and if so what’s a good source for them?
I am about to get Norinco frame and the grip screw bushing are missing.

I don't know if the bushings have a different frame thread size or not. I've never had the bushings out of my Norincos to check. If the standard size bushings don't work perhaps you would have to get the oversized bushings from Brownells and the tap to install them.

Thanks Jim. As they say "...where there's a will there's a way!"

I had slim grips, thus different bushings, installed on my Norinco. I think they screwed right in.

The Norinco grip bushings are not standard size and regular 1911 bushings will not fit. If you want to take the bushings off to install shorter bushings for slim grips, it's easier to grind the bushings shorter than to buy oversize bushings and tap a new hole.
