grip tape ?

I must be a strange breed. If I can't have my Pachmayr Combat Grips I prefer a smooth front strap.
Tough to expain but there you have it.

I tried the skateboard tape, just dont like the feel.

I just got a foot of the 2"-wide strip from Home Depot. It's in the Tape section by the paint. Looks like skateboard tape but it's called anti-slip tape or some such thing.

The 2" width is perfect. All you need is a clean frontstrap and a utility knife to remove the extra. The grips go right over it.
