I was wondering if you you all could help me with some grip options for my WW-II. I would like to find some really dark walnut grips for it, with or without the diamonds, or a set of plain checkered black rubber grips. Any ideas? I know uncle mike's used to make the black rubber ones, but I don't seem them being offered and longer. And most of the walnut stocks I see are much too light for my taste. Thanks for any help.

gil hebard guns carries the Herritt brand walnut grips for the 1911. They are inexpensive and fully checkered. I have two sets and they are dark in color.
