Does anyone know how many manufacturers of 1911's have BLUED finishes? Not the parkerized, matte black, or frying pan teflon, stealth fighter radar absorbing, space shuttle gee whiz coating stuff I see.... And who's got the best bluing?

Ed Brown and RRA sell blued guns. Beautiful finishes.

By the way, would Paveway have anything to do with LGB's?

Kimber "Royal" pistols are blued. The last one I handled was a distinctly unattractive purple, but maybe some of them are actually blue.

Paveway, I'm getting a Rock River Arms Elite Commando, 5"bb in blue. Should get it mid January. I'll let every one know how looks and shoots. Sam

hey paveway i completely agree. just a
nice polished blue can be very satisfying
not all my guns need to be low visibility
combat finish, i only shoot it at the range and i dont mind it looking kind of
sleak and sexy.
