My new Gunsight is a very smooth, accurate shooter. Don't tell anyone, but I prefer it to my Thunder Ranch. But can someone explain why Colt does not sell it with night sights? With all the collaboration that supposedly went into this neat piece, there must me a good reason.

Thanks, Dubb. Anyway it's configured, it's the one I prefer for its intended purpose; not for fun as my tack driver Caspian.

PS. I'd love to have someone explain the pros and cons of night sights.

HiCap1:

Howdy. There have been numerous threads on the "night sights, yea or nay" topic. A search of, say, the last year or so should yield plenty of opinions here on the board. Good luck.

My Gunsite also only has all black sites which are DEAD ON ACCURATE. Minimally I'm going to put on 3 dot , but in the long run I'll put on nites. This way it can also see duty in the house as the night self-defense gun. This will give my wife's Colt Special Combat a rest. It's always ready to go!!! :D Tracy

I read a pretty decent review of the Colt GSP in the new issue of Custom Combat Handguns.
