Was at the local gun show on Saturday, picked up a leather double mag pouch with 2 Colt 1911 two tone mags inside. The 2 mags and pouch in excellent condition, was told by seller that the set was part of a WW2 bringback. My question is on the pouch, the back is marked:
H H Heiser / Maker / Denver, Colo. Also, is marked with the number 16. Awesome leather and condition. Does anybody have any info on such a mag pouch. I paid $90.00 for the pouch and both two tone mags, how did I do on the price? I got the mags and pouch to go with my WW2 M1911A1, that I also picked up recently at another gun show.

Way back when, Heiser was a very famous holster maker based in Colorado.
Today, Heiser commercial leather items are collectibles.

During the War, like most leather makers, Heiser made Model 1916 hip holsters and leather magazine pouches for the government.
The leather pouches were primarily for issue to MP's, although the Cavalry also used leather pouches up until it was mechanized.
Heiser was a smaller company, so the output was lower, and Heiser GI leather is somewhat rare and collectible.

I can't comment on the price you paid since I don't collect leather.
