Half of a Singer. Number edited out. Wonder if he has the other half.
Naaa I didn’t think so…. Look at the pins… Could it have been originally a USGI Service Model .22 with a later Colt Conversion Unit added. That is NOT a Singer frame. It appears to be a 1918 Colt frame that has been planed down and had some fake markings pantographed on it.
I have the same thing. I had a piece of granite cut and polished and drilled out the screw holes myself. It looks great. And the table still works, but I don't have an ancient Singer machine to go on top of it.Good grief fellas... all this excitement on the Internet over anything alleged to have been made by Singer. I've got an old Singer sewing machine table stand, the kind with a manually-operated foot pedal that I turned into an end table. Do you think I can get a hundred grand for it?
Anyway, I agree that's just yet another cheap cast frame.
