Does anyone have any experience with a Quality Handgun Rest to use in sighting in a new pistol or revolver?
Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know about quality but a 4x4 with a sand bag always worked best for me. MTM also makes some. Try either brownells or MidwayUSA.

I purchased a Hoppe's 3000. Works pretty good. I see several others that are nearly identical like the Remington.

Take the leg of an old pair of bluejeans, sew one end shut, add sand, sew the other end shut...Voila! Pistol Rest!

I once had the plastic one from MTM. It's cheap enough, but the pistol 'bounces' on it too much. I get a better group using shot bags or heavy sandbags.

Wish I could afford a real Ransom, with all the adapters. That would be cool.
