Probably the best advice and deal that you've gotten or will get on polishing media!I use 14/20 corncob (equivelent to the RCBS stuff) get it from here:

40 pounds delivered for $22. Order on line and you will get it in 3 days max, last I ordered it arrived overnight delivered locally by Grainger supply.
Add polish of your choice a couple of dryer sheet and your good to go... and with 40 pounds for a long time.
I looked through the hand holds on the side of the box and you can see the media in a plastic bag. The fine is almost like dust. When you look at the bag of Harbor Freight media, can you actually see how fine/coarse it is without opening the bag?
I guess I would have to see both fine and coarse before I make a decision.
I like the size most of the reloading walnut media comes in. I use to know the size it was called...but have CRS now...and getting worse..!!!!
Dang, guess I have smelled too much bullet smoke over the years..
Don2 ( I think ? )
I've ordered the corncob from drillspot.com before. It is a good product and the price is definitely right. I got mine in 2 days.I use 14/20 corncob (equivelent to the RCBS stuff) get it from here:

DittoWhile I've not used Harbor Freight's media, I have used Lizzard Litter. Ground walnut shells from PetSmart used for cage litter for pets. Inexpensive and worked for me for seversl years...
Gotta say thanks for the tip - got mine delivered and as you said - it was delivered from my local Granger store. Great buy and it works like a charm. Just dropped in a little bathtub glaze and wow..I use 14/20 corncob (equivelent to the RCBS stuff) get it from here:

Nope. What I bought there wasn't treated. Works fine.I would think that anything made for Pets (Pet litter) would be treated to help eliminate foul odors (Ammonia comes to mind). Not a good idea if you plan on keeping your brass around for more than One loading.
