I recently picked up a couple new Wilson 47D mags to add to my collection. I was somewhat dissappointed when I opened the package at home to see that they have changed the finish on their mag bodies. I was looking for that brushed stainless look like the other Wilson mags I have, but the finish is more like galvanized steel. Also, the feed lip design has changed as well. The magazine still presents the round at about the same height and angle of the more recent mags I've bought. (this is in contrast to the older Wilson mags, maybe 5 or 6 years ago, which presented the round a little lower height)

Also, when looking at the spring wire through the slots on the side of the mag, it looks like the spring design has changed as well. I count 5 wire crossings in the previous design mag and 6 crossings with this newer mag. That means the spring stack has a lower angle on each coil.

Anyway, have any of you experienced the same surprise?
