Just wanted to say hey, and give a little background.
My love of the 1911 began before I had even held one. My Grandfather's praise of the gun, and many stories had instilled a level of prejudice i had no right to have. Unfortunately I was forced to wait until I Graduated High school before I would own one of my own. I joined the Army National Guard out of school just as the transition to the M9 was being completed. Many a heated argument after, not that the M9 is a bad weapon, you just can't love the guy who replaced the champ without earning it.
My EDC is a Kimber Custom Eclipse 5". The Ruger SR1911CMD is on back order. I look forward interacting with people who can say more than three words without one of them being Glock.
