Welcome from NW Georgia 🇬🇪. A 10 MM in a compact kind of like grabbing a tiger by the tail. A handful for sure.I just brought my first Springfield Armory pistol.
XDm Elite 10mm 3.8" Compact
While I'm new to Springfield Armory, this is not my first 10mm.
Now no.Do you own a 1911 ?
I love the extra power of a 10mm. Yes, I do love my Sig 9mm with their FCU's.Welcome from NW Georgia 🇬🇪. A 10 MM in a compact kind of like grabbing a tiger by the tail. A handful for sure.
I don’t think so ,but typically most new members do . As it is a 1911 Forum…Now no.
I had a Colt combat commander 45 in satin nickle.
Later I had a Colt Delta Elite SS in 10mm
Now I have a SA compact 10mm
Do I need to have a 1911 to be in this forum?
Back when I was much younger I would shoot my DW long barrel 44 mag. With scope out on the 100 yard range and you are correct after 20/30 rounds your hand said enough of this. Now that I am looking at 80 I still have that pistol but my son shoots it now. Right now building a 1911 government size in 40 S&W and you are correct again as my Son is a Federal Lawman and they went from 40 S&W to 357 Sig to 9MM with a bunch of liberals running things next will be the 22 short so you can’t hurt those criminals to bad. Here’s a picture of my latest and greatest. Built on an 80% frame.I love the extra power of a 10mm. Yes, I do love my Sig 9mm with their FCU's.
I do not see how a 10mm is so difficult not even for my female hands?
Years ago I had a S&W model 29, 44Mag, nickle with 4"barrel. Now that was a economy gun as after 20 rds of shooting fire you were done. 🔥
Of course, if I remember correctly, didn't the FBI wuss out as the 10mm was to much for many of them, so they shortened the 10mm to a 10mm short and renamed it a 40cal ( I assume that name change, as no guy wants to handle anything that says "short"?)![]()
What type of reloader are you getting?Welcome from N.E. Florida. Just got my 1st 10 mm after 50 years of Colt 1911s. Impressive cartridge. Start reloading next week. Looking for proven loads.
