I've been lurking for about a week now and decided to Join. I'm located in central Florida and Live on a lake here. Since we have a famous old race track here, I'm into cars, have a boat and two Waverunners, not that into fishing yet and look to get back to hunting. Guns are one of my many vices along with watches. I actually co-own a watch forum. If you think guns are expensive don't even start on watches. Guns seem cheap to me compared to some of my watches, watercraft and cars.

Getting back on topic we currently have 22 guns for our home. Some are being moved here as we speak. My wife and I along with friends go to the range nearly every week. I've has guns since I was you for hunting, but never shot a pistol until I was at Officer Candidate School for the USCG. That was a standard service issue 1911. Shortly after that they moved to the Beretta 9mm. Those had issues on boardings in salt water so we were allowed to use our own 9mm. I used an HK VP70Z which was the first polymer gun long before the Glock. I have four 1911 pistols which three of them are in transit here (or will be). While that occurs I have the newest member which is the 9mm Tarus Officer model. In transit are the 45's. Those are a SS Colt Gold Cup, Kimber 1911 TLEII Custom, and a Springfield Emissary with the long barrel and rail. I got back into guns just before we bought the house on the lake a year and a half ago. I've not had any rounds in the 1911's yet, but will start to rectify that soon. It was more important getting my wife into the gun thing including her conceal carry license. Turns out she is a very good shot and now has her own two guns. They are not 1911's. The rest of the collection is rifles of various types and calibers or gauges.

One question for the admins here. Does this forum work on Tapatalk?

Thanks. Maybe I should mention our other pistols. Besides the1911s mentioned we have a Ruger American 45 grey/Black, Sig Sauer P320 M18 Desert sand and coyote brown, two Tarus GX4 (my wife's is tungsten/blk, and mine is OD/blk) for CC, S&W M&P Shield EZ Performance Center 380 ACP (Wife's), and a Tarus Raging Hunter in SS/Blk 44 Mag revolver. Rifles and Shotguns could be a thread on their own and go from 22Lr up to 45-70W plus 20 and 12 gauges.

Howdy from Tomball, Texas. Don't even get me started on cars. Another one of my passions (used to race my daily driver until I retired her at 285,000 miles - that thing was a brick and ran really well).

Welcome aboard. You will find sub-forums covering about everything you have. About the only area you didn't say you were into was reloading. When you get the time, we all love gun porn (photos of your pistols, long guns, and scatter-guns.

I will post all of these over time. I'm a much better rifle and shotgun markman than I am with a pistol. Working to improve that. That being said, I can provide the other list now.

Ruger American Go Wild 16" heavy barrel sand camo 6.5 Creedmoor Bolt Action with a 6-24x 50 scope (Weighs 5lbs so it is my blind and stand rifle)
Ruger American Hunter 20" heavy barrel 308W black and grey Bolt Action with a 4-16x 50 tactical scope (May swap this back and for with the Go Wild scope)

Lever Action:
Marlin 1895 Trapper 16" barrel SS with black/grey wood stocks chambering 45-70, Iron Sights only for now (Bear and big game gun..we have bears, bore, coyote, wolf, and lions here)
Henry Evil Roy LE Nickel w/Walnut stocks and 16.5" Blued Octagonal heavy barrel 22LR with a big hoop lever action
Henry Bad Boy Brass/Walnut stocks and a 20" Blued Octagonal heavy barrel 44 Magnum

Semi Auto:
H&K MP-5 22LR Fun gun to plink with. I got to shoot the real one at a course when I was in the Military so when these came out had to have one.
Smith & Wesson M&P 15 22-LR with Red dot and Iron sights back up can shoot a 5 round 1/2 group or less at 100 yards. Stupid accurate.
SpringField Saint Edge 5.56/223 AR-15 with Reflex Red Dot and Iron sight back up. Just got this so it has not been shot yet. Can. also fot with the 4-16xx50 Tactical scope since it is quick release.

Shot Guns:
Mossberg 500 ATI Tactical pistol grip T3 Tactlite stock with 3 and and 6 round external clips 12 guage pump action 18.5" barrel shotgun. The ATI is also fitted with a Red Dot on the top and a blue lazer sight on the one side of the barrel and a flash light on the other. The magizine holds 8 +1. Serious home defense.

The main body and the floating fforward stock is all T6 aluminum. The require you use High Volicy rounds in 2 3/4 or 3" shot or slugs. I have a 2+1, and 5+1 and I have coming a 10+1 magizine coming. What, no O/U? :)

You have some great firearms in your stable. I have three Lever Actions, a Winchester 94 in .30-30 Winchester, a Rossi Model 92 in .44 Remington Magnum, and a Winchester Model 1887 in 12ga. I shoot the 94 and 92 a lot, both still wear iron sights, but I've never shot the Winchester 1887. heck, I'm not 100% sure if it was a BP shotgun or an early smokeless model. According to Winchester, it was made in 1891.

I also have bolt action and semi-automatic rifles ranging from .22lr to .458 Winchester Magnum and .458 SOCOM.

You going to love it here. We're going to love having you here. See you around the forums.

And from the other group, we'll start with the Sig Sauer P320 M18 Compact. I had the Sig Sauer Romeo Pro 1 Red Dot sight on it but it took me over 10 seconds to power it on and find the red dot. Plus it lost the Iron rear sight. Restored the rear iron sight and put on the laser sight. This I can draw and turn on and aim in about a second. Much happier. This is on my night stand next to the bed with a fingerprint safe for storage. My goto hand gun since it works like a champ and is very accurate both with the Iron and the laser.

My trio of 1911s. Had the Colt the longest, them the WC CQB, and newest would be the Ruger SR1911. The Ruger is taking its turn as my CCW.
