I need instructions to install a new Chip McCormick ambi safety on my Kimber Custom.
The single sided safety makes that perfect sounding "click" and I want the new ambi one to do that also.It should be just a drop in.
I have worked on many guns over the years, but never the 1911.
Can anyone help me with this installation ?

I have never had an ambi safety "drop in" so plan on fiting it.

The little click is good.

Hi IC45-
I have installed the CM Ambi safeties, you are still going to have to fit the first angle on the interrior arm. They dont just drop in. If you install it correctly the click is the spring loaded plunger popping in and out of the dimple on the safety itself.
