I have this 1911 that I have had for about 10 years and it has only a serial number on the barrel and on the frame. It has only one other marking on the frame under the grip on the right side on the bottomclose to the front of the magazine well. The marking consists of a triangle whose forward corner intersects two concentric circles. I am new to forums and am not quite sure how to post pictures without photo storage online. I can email pictures to anyone willing to help.

Any help in identifying the maker of this pistol would be appreciated. It appears to be a kit gun, and was put together with great care, as everything fits snug and it operates quite smoothly.
Thanks
Rob

& what's that serial number? Also, there may be more markings under the grips.

The guys here are like bloodhounds, they can find anything. But they do need to at least sniff of a sock!

Read up on how to post pictures. A serial number on the barrel and the frame sort of says not made in the USA.
