I took my 1911 to the range today and noticed my rear sight was loose enough to drift it left or right with my finger. How do i correct this?

Also, does someone make a replacement rear site for mil specs that has a screw for sinching it down with an allen wrench once you have it where you want it?

Tap the sight out using a Drift punch with some masking tape on the tip. Drift it out from left to right. Take the sight turn it upside down and with a pointed punch tap some Dimples in it.
If you like you can put a drop of red Loctite in the Dovetail but it should not need it. replace the sight in reverse order. Make sure the sight is where you want it if you use the Loctite.
