Which way does the firing pin spring go onto the firng pin. I have a box of 10mm riding on this.

Smaller end goes on the pin first, larger end towards the breach

I will show him this weekend what you experts have said and shoot the heck out of the box of FREE ammo. It seems I remember doing it the other way once and the spring seemed a lot harder to remove.
If he doesn't believe you guys, feel free to come over and help me convince him the old fasioned way.LOL.

The small end was made to fit tight on the firing pin, so that it wouldn't fly away or fall out and get lost if the firing pin was removed out in the middle of a battlefield somewhere.
