Picked these up at a local flea market today. The price was right so I thought I'd take a chance. I thought they might be Python or Trooper. The medallions are gold in color.
Can someone identify them from the pics? Also what frame number would apply to these grips..."I", "E", or ?
Thanks...

Those are for the Colt Python and will fit all the Colt medium "E&I" frame revolvers, like the Official Police, Officer's Model, and original Trooper.
They will NOT fit later models like the Trooper Mark III/King Cobra.

Up until the later 1970's only the Python had Gold medallions, all others being Silver.
Starting in the late 70's Colt started using Gold on most everything.

Those particular grips are known as the Colt Third Type Target grips.
These were used on Colt's from "about" the late 1970's up until this type of grip was discontinued in the mid-1990's.

On Ebay, these Third Type Colt Target grips usually sell for from $100.00 to over $175.00 OR MORE.
