Colt 1911 MODEL OF 1911 US ARMY on rt side of slide
serial# 6091xx
New diamond grips
"AA" on left side of frame
UNITED STATES PROPERTY on rt side of frame
possible old re blue,

This came with a nice brown US marked M1912 holster,
(on the back is "BOYT-J.R.J."

The frame openings was a curiosity question, about 60/65% of 1918/1919 Colt production had heart cut frames,I'm just curious as to whether they were done consecutively or not.

An AA rebuild would normally be parkerized. I believe somebody probably reblued it to restore original appearance. I'd guess the value would be between $500-$650.
