Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. Although not new to firearms, i'm new to 1911's. I picked up my very first today, a Kimber Pro CDP. I can't say enough about this gun, it's great! I put 200 rounds through it this afternoon with nice groupings at 21ft. I did have 2 fail to feed's, which after reading reviews is normal prior to the break in period (?) The Kimber instruction manual advised to field strip and re oil before firing the gun for the first time, not sure if that had to do with the FTF's. Looking forward to learning from you guy's! Here is a quick picture of my new "grail"

cheers!
