I will be proud owner of Norinco 1911A1 in about two weeks from now.
This forum , together with http://canadiangunnutz.com helped me to get more info regarding this beautifull gun.As new firearm owner ( I own Norinco AR15 so far only), I found this boards very useful and helpfull.

I got my `rinco 1911 A1 today, and I will post pics soon.
I have paid total of 433 $ Cdn ( gun +3 extra mags+ Tax+registration+shipping)

And as far as somone asked, I paid 670 $ Cdn for my `rinco AR15 Clone. ( pics coming soon)

670 Canadian Dollar = 515.38 US Dollar

Nah. It's a decent deal, but we can get DPMS AR-15 "kit guns" for about $600 US (that's an assembled upper, an assembled lower, and two pins to finish it) and the Rock River version is about the same price.

Sin New Norinco

Sin did you get your Norinco at Marstar? What kind of box did it come in (Plastice/Styrofoam)? Does it have the serial # on both the frame & slide?

Yes Rob, I got it from Marstar, and it came in stirfoam box.
