Is there anything that you folks do to minimize holster wear on blued guns? Any and all suggestions would be helpful (except not carrying the gun in a holster of course).
Thanks in advance.
John

Spray the inside with silicone spray. This really won't make a big difference - wear marks are inevitable with a blued gun.

Dear oldcolt, In addition to what Shane said try to keep the inside as clean and grit free as possible. Kydex and other plastics can be washed with soap and water. For leather you can probably use a soft tooth brush while holding the holster upside down. Stay safe, Gary

Do the nylon holsters from Uncle Mike offer any relief for wear on blued pistols?

For carrying everyday I wouldn'd suggest carrying your gun in a nylon holster.Buy a quality leather or kydex holster.Holster wera is inevitable and I think it actually adds character. If you don't like character, go with stainless or have your gun hard-chromed.Wear of the finish isn't gonna make it perform any less.
