it's a Sistema from CDNN. Seems to be a nice (typical) example of the refinished ones that's floating around. It's a police model with out a crest.Does anyone know if these are rare or run of thr mill? Sr# is 73xxx.

I took the earlier advice a left my Remington Rand in it's orignal finish(or lack thereof)and have enjoyed just looking at it between trips to the range.Haven't test drove the Sistema yet but may slide down to the local indoor range after supper and pop off a few!
Like the 1911's fit and feel so much that I used the ol C&R FFL to get a StarB in 9mm.
Thanks all for makin this a great fourm,Star

1927's in that serial range, lack any extra
markings. Don't know why, comercial release?
Reason I say that is, that I have one NIB
with 3 matching mags & test target dated early 1951. 1.25" group on the test target!

The Argentine contract Colts, Model 1927s, and Sistemas all seem to be marked in various fashions. I guess there wasn't any sort of standard. Some just have one minor stamp signifying Argentine gov't property, while others are stamped all over the place.
