This is a Horseshoe Leather Company HAK/HAK double shoulder holster for my Commanders.

It took 6 weeks for Andy Aratoonian to get it made, and delivered to me.

It's hard to get decent pics at arms length :)

It is a dark cordovan color.

The two identical weight pistols hang evenly and don't tug to either side. They naturally hug my side. It feels more like carrying a rucksack than two guns.

The fit and finish are impeccable. The two holsters are stiff, but quite thin compared to the Galco I had. The thumb breaks are backed with a piece of spring steel, and work great.

Everything conceals very well under a coat or jacket.

Well worth the wait.

Now I can carry my extra magazine in a GUN!!

Very nice Roger! They already look like well-worn, comfortable holsters.

My first holster from him, and probably not my last.

The fit of the Commanders in the holsters not too tight, but definitely not loose....it's what I would call "exact".

It's still a lot of steel to carry, but this thing makes it pretty darned easy to do.

Like my reply to you over at GT

he sure does beautiful work. Just too bad he doesn't "do lefty" Emailed him about that, and other than two models, he was emphatic about not making any other models in LH versions.

Thats a fine looking rig.

I understand why some people buy Galco and the like- off the shelf is so convenient- but for the same (or even less) money, custom like yours or an Alessi is so much better !
