I have a gunsite colt with Novak sights. I plan on buying the Novaks with the tritium inserts. How do I know they are centered or zerod?

Put them on and shoot. Adjust as needed. I sent my slide off to have nites drilled and installed and they came back perfect, just like they were when it left. Tracy

What tsp45acp said, but I'll add, put a piece of blue masking tape on and draw a line where the edge of the old sight blade (front) and notch (rear) were. That will give you a good starting point for zeroing them once you hit the range. I don't know if it's the "right" way to do it, but it worked for me on two separate occasions.

Thearmedrebel,

Thanks, forgot about marking the sight before removing them. I used a black marker on another sight before removing, and then used alcohol or carb spray to remove the line. Tracy
