i was wondering how long a para last. i would think as long as the frame did right? all other parts can be replaced.

I had an allow framed P14 that cracked at 20-25K rounds. PO replaced the frame with a steel one for ~$150 (gun was out of warranty.)

You are right, the frame is the key. I don't believe Para is any better or worse than any other manufacturer as far as longevity. A lot is dependant on the loads you shoot, and the routine maintenance schedule you follow (please change your recoil spring every 2000 - 3000 rds.)
