I have one I bought at a gun show. It shoots FMJ okay but hollow point it will not feed. It jams at the feed ramp. I sent it to Dan Wesson and they polished the feed ramp but this still didn't help. Any suggestion? Do you know how many were produced?

I had one at one point. The only 1911 I could not make run reliably no matter what I did to it.

I would keep sending it to DW until it does run, or trade it.

My first 1911 was a PMDP it is my favorite shooter I take to the range, no problems just smooth shootin fun.

Mine will only feed ball ammo, but I'm OK with that since I don't use it as a carry gun. I love my PMDP.
