Hi, I need to thin down a frame so that a mag catch is flush on the right side (it sits too deep), the frame is .764 wide, what was the spec of the original frame width? I thought it was .750 but I'm usually wrong, I need to remove .010.
a new mag catch might be a better solution. some might be a hair wider than the one you have. or the one you have might be just a little too short. This may be a prime example of tolerance stacking, the frame is at the upper limits, while the catch is at the lower limits.
