what is the best hunting load for my dan wesson 357.magnum. it has the 8 inch barrel. i want to hunt deer with it.

I don't know Exitwound's secret, but I've found that for a hunting application the softpoint in the semi-jacketed bullet to work very well. I have used that style of bullet when Speer used to make them for the .41 magnum.
