I decided to try my hand on some "minor" smithing, and I tried to install a single action trigger on my 10mm Witness.

Well, I can't, for the life of me, figure how in the good golly to get the darn coil/arm spring and trigger back together.I have hooked up the trigger to the trigger bar (my description of the part, may not be the official designation)but I don't see how the rest can be done without some sort of three handed robot assistant.

I doubt George Smith has three hands or a robot, so there has to be a better way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

SFB

As I recall, you need to fashion a slave pin to hold things together. That, clamping the frame in a padded vise, and some fiddling, gets it done.
