should I swap out the sear and hammer while they are at it or just use the Colt stock parts ? This is a GI/spec gun and grip safety so I limited on the type of hammer.

Any direction would be apprciated.

Thanks

What is your definition of a trigger job? Some would say that a trigger job INCLUDES swapping out the factory sear and hammer for better quality ones, or ones that are not worn.

Novaks just fits the existing parts in the gun factory or whatever else. The gun is a stock NRM 1991A1.

You may want to toss the Colt MIM sear. The Colt hammer should be fine... my Delta Elite has a Colt spur hammer in it and the trigger (done by Ted Yost) has a perfect 4 lb pull. Colt triggers can be fit kind of loose, so replacing the trigger itself may be a nice idea (especially if it is plastic).
