Got the New Valor and CCO out for some exercise today.. Valor was very accurate, with a sweet trigger. I cant wait to load up some nice rounds for it. I only had 2 fail to feed, not sure why. It was with my Tripp Mag:eek: The DW mags performed flawlessly. Shot about 120 WWB rounds through it, and a couple mags through the CCO(flawless). At 7-12 yards the Valor shoots best with a over bullseye hold, move out to 15-20 and it gets better with a 6 o'clock hold. The left shooting is the shooter im sure..

I may be changing out the slim grips though.. not sure if I like them or not yet. I'll get to ring it out some more tomorrow night.

Here is the first 16 rounds through it.

The next couple mags:

And the gratuitous dirty porn. Its all I had time for.

Nice shooting JD, but there is to little lube for guns and the excessive amount and you sure got the 2nd one to yourself. Nice pics.

FP-10 smells delicious! Not as good as the old Hoppes banana smell though.

Good shooting too! We said to lube it well, and you sure took that advice to heart.

The mid shoot re-lube is what makes all the mess.:biglaugh: I didnt take pics of the 20 yd shooting, but they were all in the blue. Kind of surprised myself.

Hoppes Elite and FP-10 do smell wonderful though.. The wife wishes CLP and Powder blast smelled that good..

Good shooting man! Wonder why the 2 failure to feeds though..... Did you put those rounds back in and try again? Did they go the second time?
It's going to be a nice pile of weapons we have at the Invitational. Maybe you should write your name in white permanent marker on your Valor slide so that we don't get ours confused.:biglaugh:

I shoot paper at Parma woods in Parkville if its nice out and Show Me Shooters up north in claycomo. Its reasonable and I can pick up my brass.

With the Feed issues I just slightly pulled the slide back, and let it forward they fed. Might have been an ammo issue, didn't pay too close attention or worry about it unless it becomes a regular problem.

Ehh, don't worry Sarge, we don't have to shoot your Valor with its fancy grips, I know its just a safe queen!:biglaugh:

I think they'll be a couple others there also.

All I'm hearing is "Sarge, I hereby volunteer to be the live fire target changer at the Invitational. No need to stop, I'll just dodge the rounds while I do it."
Incredibly generous offer JDSig! I accept.:biglaugh:

JDSig, roger the Parma Woods 10-20. I shoot at the Bullet Hole in OP when the wx is crummy. Otherwise me and the AR head out to the Lake City (Blue SPrings) Range where they allow rifles.
