Yes

MIchigan accepts all resident licenses. Check out: packing.org . Michigan does not issue a non-resident license. You must be a resident of the state that issued your license.

Yes, but ????

Yes. michigan recognizes your carry permit. Indiana requires a permit to carry, either open or concealed unless you are in your place of business or residence.

Michigan is an open carry state as well, although, not too many people do so. The problem comes when you get into a vehicle. Then you must have a permit (in Michigan it is a Concealed Pistol Permit) or you have to separate the ammo and pistol and ensure it is not accessable. Also even though it may be in plain site, ie on the dash or the seat it is considered concealed once it is in the vehicle.

Check packing.org and opencarry.org. Two great sites with a lot of information.
