Can anyone confirm or deny that Para is no longer making .40 magazine in black finishes(POM40R). And that all new mags are now nickel finished.

I was told this by a store but I'm a little suspicious that it's because they didn't have them in stock.

Send an email to Para-Ordnance for the answer. They have contact information on thier website.

n2299,

Hope you have better luck getting an answer when you email Para Ord. I emailed them two weeks ago with a magazine question, and no answer to date.

Fred,

FWIW I know that Para's shutdown this past Monday for a couple of weeks for retooling.

They will be re-open on Aug 6th.

OK, thanks, I'll be patient and wait a bit to see if they answer my query. Appreciate the info.
