Hello : I am hoping someone here can help me with a couple questions Re: imports and their markings. (1) What actualy occurs when a company imports a gun? (2) How does this marking effect the value? The pistol I am refering to is an Inglis 3CH and it has CAI ST A VT on the bottom of the trigger gaurd. Thanks and Happy New Year to all. Greg

Thanks cpw

Any idea by what %?
In my opinion, it's more a matter of condition. If the pistol is less than about 80% original finish, I wouldn't think it would deduct much at all.

If it's 95% or better, probably around $75-$100.

Just my opinions...

For some of us, an import mark is totally irrelevant, as long as it is not huge, obvious, or covering original markings.

Don't forget that "Browning Arms" on your Hi Power slide is an import mark.:D
