I just bought a Kissing Crane Stilletto, and I am wondering about the qualiity. I know Kissing Crane is a good German company, but what is KC47 steel and what does "Rostfrei" mean. I am assuming it is the region of production in Germany, much the way you see Solingen on blades.

Here's what that website said about the KC46 Series, the KC47 Series, and the KC48 Series: Genuine "European Stilettos"
Authentic old world styling! Each knife is assembled and polished by hand in Germany. The Solingen 420 stainless steel blade features a double locking mechanism that "catches" the blade in a half-closed position for extra safety. Each knife has brass holsters, linings, and an inlaid shield
