This little gun has a 4" barrel with a bushing and I'm under the impression that they weren't made for very long. It's been a safe queen so I decided to send it off and have a few upgrades. I intend for it to be my EDC when it comes back.

Information has been slim on this gun. If anyone has one I would like to hear about it.

I've got one that's stainless , don't like the short bushing or the guide rod plug, was thinking of having it bobbed and a few other things done. Let us know what you have done and how it comes out.

I love mine.
Accurate, reliable, super comfortable to carry.

I wish SA still made these. Or better yet, a true commander length pistol.

I couldn't get two pics to work in one post. A close up.
It is too bad they don't do this any longer.

Mine is from '95.
Thanks! Do you have a pic to post?

I ordered a thick flange bushing from EGW and also fit (more accurate description, installed) a Chuck Warner True Radius Hammer, Sear, FPS, kit and love it.

Edit to ad: 2 lb. 10 Oz pull with the TR ignition and much more accurate with the EGW bushing. EGW offers a FLGR kit that I would consider. I have the Wilson that is no longer offered, I see.

Thanks for the info, but since ACW has it, I'll leave that up to Rob.

not to sidetrack this thread, but any idea why SA (or Wilson for that matter) do not build a true Commadder length and have opted for the 4in?

IDK. Maybe Rob will come along and answer that.

Thanks J Bird. They appear different. I wish I had a history of them.
I don't recall "Brazil" on my gun and it has a NMC serial number.

Have you shot it a lot? Do you carry it?
