The wood pictured is Walnut.with oil finish, I also have Cherry, Hickory and Mahogany and a little Koa

 

I was thinking those would be really cool in some kind of burl wood.

 

I thought about trying some of the Burls ,, But then thought the image and the natural figuring of the wood my conflict with one another,
