I figured, what the heck, now's the time to do it while I've got overtime at work to pay for it.

I haven't had a .45 in my hands since I was repairing them in the army. Now I'll get to keep the one that crosses my palm after I pay it off.

Once I get it, I sure will make a Range Report. Myself, I wanted the closest to military issue I could afford. I will also be double-checking those parts to see how close the quality comes from army-issue repair parts that I remember.

I have a Tokarev in 9mm. A Tokarev being an obvious copy of the 1911 with a few differences, I will say this: The Tokarev is extremely accurate, very rugged, highly reliable, and I have never had a jam. I am going to expect this from my MilSpec. Accuracy is dependant on some variables that I will allow for with time, but I expect reliability and ruggedness as givens.
